Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, the QHSE Manager will create, implement and promote a business specific quality management / IMS system. Ensuring a high standard quality culture as well as creating HSE awareness, ensuring a high standard safety culture.
The main areas of responsibility will include:
Creating, implementing and promoting the integrated quality management system procedures, instructions and forms
Initiating a quality assurance program and framework fitting for the business
To be the point of contact for certifying institutes as to audits and inspections
Implementing the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management system and ensure certification
Organising, supporting and conducting audits and inspections on internal processes and suppliers
Advising on quality risks and quality related topics within the business
To take lead and cooperate with other counter partners within Urenco entities
Ensuring a clear understanding of all quality activities related to certification and business improvement
Creating, implementing and promoting H&S safe working procedures and instructions
Driving the HSE compliance as well as provide high specialist support, including advice on HSE risks and HSE topics within Urenco
Engaging closely with the local emergency response team
We are now looking for an individual who can make a difference and add value to our existing team. The following skills and experience will provide an indication of the types of team players we are looking for:
Proven QHSE Manager experience (5+ years)
Demonstrated knowledge of ISO, BSI and other international standards, law & legislation
Certification in lead auditing/internal Auditing
Certified HSE Engineer (Sifa, Safety Engineer NEBOSH, MVK, HVK or equal)
Certified Nuclear Radiation Expert is preferred
Good communication and analytic skills
Ability to deliver an integrated QHSE management system
Demonstrated knowledge of industrial safety compliance standards and safety best practices
Experienced with certification processes within the technical industry
Experienced in quality & safety audits and inspections
Ability to work with personnel at all levels within the organisation with emphasis on leadership, team building and meeting organisational objectives
Knowledge of emergency response and/or crisis management
Conversant in business English and in the business language specific to role location
This is a full time, permanent position based in Gronau.
