Urenco Group Projects is entering into a period of significant and exciting change. The role will assist with the analysis of capital investment for Urenco Group’s global portfolio of projects worth over €100 million annual CAPEX with project values ranging from €1 million to in excess of €500 million.
The role is accountable for conducting engagements with, or on behalf of the Project Assurance Manager for the purpose of identifying process weaknesses, and working with Project Assurance Manager to develop corrective actions. The role will also assist the Project Assurance Manager with root cause analysis of known areas of weakness and assist with development of corrective actions. The role will require working with the global portfolio of capital project, reporting and analytics, as well as certain administrative duties.
The main areas of responsibility will include:
Actively promote a pro-active safety culture throughout the project lifecycle and across the organization
Become familiar with Urenco’s processes related to delivery of capital projects, portfolio management, and reporting. Assist with identifying, making recommendations, and implementing improvements to processes
Assist with evaluation of existing controls. Assist with analysis, and development of future controls for existing processes, or for changes to existing processes
Assist with the development of a RCA methodology and selecting appropriate RCA methods for the problem to be solved
Continual maintenance of a consolidated view of global portfolio of capital projects together with accompanying commentary and variance analysis
Development and maintenance of portfolio reporting for presentation to Group executive bodies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in project reporting
Assist with development of the annual assurance programme
Writing reports for key stakeholders up to executive management
Assurance action tracker analysis to develop thematic focus on future assurance activities
Trending analysis in preparation for reviews
Group Investment Approvals Committee administration support
Group Investment Re-approvals Committee administration support
We are now looking for an individual who can make a difference and add value to our existing team, the following skills and experience will provide an indication of the type of team player we are looking for:
Educated to degree level or equivalent (in a technical or numerical subject)
Analytical bias with attention to detail, specifically concerning data collation, analysis and presentation
Excellent written presentation skills
Professional and competent level of all Microsoft Packages (especially Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, SharePoint and expert Power Point skills)
Excel modelling and ideally, Power BI, or VBA experience
Knowledge of how to verify data and check for accuracy
Familiar with modelling techniques and practice, such as financial, economic, or scientific data modelling
SAP Project Systems knowledge
Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to respond to changing priorities, supporting a busy workload and multiple live projects
This is a permanent, full-time position which can be based in Gronau or Capenhurst.
