The Asset Service Delivery Manager is part of the Corporate Asset Management function. The primary objective of the role is to manage Urenco’s total demand on goods and services towards one of its key suppliers. In order to support the delivery of our business strategy, and plan for succession, we are recruiting an Asset Service Delivery Manager for this important business area.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the role requires an overall Group approach to capture demand and requirements across the business and includes a Urenco-wide contract management approach with regard to one of its key suppliers. The main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Support the development and implementation of the Asset Strategy through the co-ordination of centrifuge and related components in line with our refurbishment requirements

  • Centrally co-ordinate demand management on key supplier resources, services, and goods across the Urenco Group

  • Provide programme assurance through the development, planning, and co-ordination of the refurbishment initiatives with the core supplier and local refurbishment project managers

  • Ensure that Urenco’s commercial position is best protected and reflected in all contractual arrangements with our key supplier through applying industry good procurement practices such as negotiation skills, contract standards and strategies.

We are now looking for an individual who can make a difference and add value to our existing team. The following skills and experience will provide an indication of the types of Team Players we are looking for:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree of Engineering (Economic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) with distinctive commercial and technical knowledge

  • Very experienced in the management of multi-disciplined teams incl. experiences in conflict management

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, contract management, scheduling, human resources modelling and coordination of people

  • Robust programme & project management experience

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse teams and individuals, creating a positive and interactive environment

  • Empathic and being able to change mind-sets and way of working of stakeholders

  • Ability of planning ahead and using reporting tools to mirror the progress

  • Acting with a hands-on mentality and being proactive

  • Used to think outside the box to be enabled acting as a problem solver

  • What about language skills? Should at least be fluent in English and German.

This is a Full time, permanent position which can be based in Gronau or Almelo.
